This is a new product recently launched by Covergirl under their Natureluxe line. It boasts beeswax instead of polymers and a mousse formula to make it 20% lighter than other mascaras but with 2x the volume.
I picked this up because I was looking for a good waterproof mascara for summer. A lighter mascara that's waterproof seemed a good choice.
Then I tried it.
The mousse formula seems to clump MORE than other mascaras I've tried. It also doesn't feel at all lighter on my lashes and it fact made my top lashes kinda stick to my bottom lashes ever so slightly every time I blinked. Perhaps the beeswax turned into honey at some point during production? This also flakes HORRIBLY. I would blink, and have flakes. If I touched my eyelashes, it would be snowing flakes down my cheek. I didn't even get to test whether or not it was waterproof because it all flaked off in no time. I would not recommend this at all.
That being said, I have not tried the non waterproof version so maybe that product is different. Let me know if you have and what you thought!
