I don't know how many of you girls have read Voe's* blog, Lipstick and Pearls, but it is an amazing blog. She breaks down beauty products scientifically so that you know whether a product REALLY works or not. It's a brilliant blog and I suggest you all check it out.
But, right now Voe needs our help. When she was younger, she was raped. It was a very traumatic time for her, understandably, and led to her almost taking her own life. But, thanks to the Helen Bamber Foundation, she was able to turn her life around.
The Helen Bamber Foudation is a UK based foundation that was "formed in 2005 to help rebuild lives and inspire a new self-esteem in survivors of gross human rights violations."
This is where we come in. Voe is going to be embarking on a trek through the Indian Himalayas to raise money for the Helen Bamber Foundation next September. Her goal is to raise £2000 (a little over $3000 American) and she is requesting donations. You can donate by clicking here, or you can text DONN86 and the amount you want to donate (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 etc.) to 70070. Keep in mind that your donation will be in pound sterling (£).
