Requested Blog-Face/hair masks

I had a request for hair and face masks. So I'm going to share a few homemade and store bought masks I like!

The first is a homemade mask. I have oily acne prone skin so this mask is good for my skin type. All you need is honey, aspirin and water! First, I take 2 or 3 aspirin tablets (the non coasted white kind...you can also buy powdered aspirin) and put them in a little bowl. I put a few drops of water on them, just enough to start the dissolving. After a minute, gently crush them up into a paste. Then add about as much honey as you have paste and blend. You can use any honey but I usually use organic just because I am super careful of what I put on my face. You can use this on your whole face of on specific pimples. I usually apply to cleansed skin and leave it on for between 10 and 20 minutes then tone and moisturize.

This mask is a good mask because it has natural salicylic acid from the aspirin and honey is really good because it has natural antibacterial properties and is naturally moisturizing, so your skin doesn't get over dry.

A store bought mask I like is C. Booths Volcanic Mud Mask.

I picked it up at a Rite Aid for about $10. It helps tighten you pores and drys out acne. My skin feels much smoother and firmer after using, the only con is its not a smooth paste like most masks, its more of a crumbly paste which makes application a little messy. But its worth it.

I also like the Freeman line of masks.
You can also get these at Rite Aid. They have a few different ones to choose from so every skin type can find something.

As for hair masks, I don't really use them that much since I have really short hair and I don't heat style it ever. I do dye it but my hair isn't dry. I do like Aussie 3 Minute Miracle the best though. Leavees my hair soft and smooth and smells great!

Hope this helps you guys out! If you have any questions or requests for a blog post, leave me a comment!

Both of your blogs look cool, I'm going to check them out more fully when I get home from work. Thanks for commenting! :)
