Ulta Haul

So today I went to Ulta for the first time and I'm in <3. They have a lot of awesome products from a lot of brands. For those who haven't been, its pretty much right in between a drugstore and Sephora. They sell drugstore brands (Covergirl, Maybelline, etc.) but they also sell higher end brands (Bare Minerals, Too Faced, Lorac, etc.). They also have a salon in-store. I picked up only a couple of things (and it was really hard to choose...darn budgets!), and I thought I'd share them with you! Here we go!

First off, I got 2 Mario Badescu products. I've been hearing a lot about this brand and I'm really excited to try it.

I got the Acne Facial Cleanser and the Glycolic Foaming Cleanser. My skin is acne prone which hopefully the acne cleanser will help but its also a bit dull so thats where the glycolic acid cleanser comes in. I'm excited to try these products and hope they work well.

I also picked up Jean Pierre Cosmetics Exfoliating cleansing towelettes. These have a funny smell but basically do their job.

Because I signed up for Ultas free rewards program, I also got four free gifts.

An Ulta eyeshadow in Sandstone. I tried to swatch it for you but its a really light, bronzy color so it didn't show up well. It looks pretty though and its a good neutral color.

This is a leave in conditioner that is supposed to make your hair soft, silky and full. I'm definitely looking forward to trying this one out!

Goldwell Color Glow Bright Shine Conditioner for Warm Blondes. Unfortunately, I can't use this product because my hair is red.

I also got an anti bacterial hand lotion in Citrus Splash. I like the scent and the lotion isn't to drying which is good.

So theres my products! I'm thinking I might have to get a second job so I can shop there more!

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think? Let me know in the comments! Or request a post!

  1. Am really liking the glycolic wash ATM . My skin seriously looks smoother after using it. Interested to see how you find the acne wash. I'm really liming this brand & want to try more

  2. I'm liking both so far! I'll do a proper review once I've used them for a few weeks.

  3. I really like the Ulta shadow you picked out. I have never used any of the Ulta brand products. Would you recommend them? :)

  4. I'm liking the shadow so far. Its nicely pigmented and blends well and its a great neutral color. This is the first Ulta brand product I've ever tried and I'm excited to try more!
