Haul!

NH's winter has been pretty weird. We got snow in October, again in November and almost no snow until the first day of...March? So we now have 6 inches of snow and a lot of rain in the forecast. So to cheer myself up, I went to Target yesterday and picked up some things.

1. Venus Spa Breeze Disposable Razors
I like these razors because a separate shaving cream is not required so shaving goes much faster. I actually like the Venus Pro Skin razor better but I lost the razor so I buy these disposables, hoping that I will soon find my missing razor.

2. Veet Spray On Hair Removal Cream
This is my second Veet purchase. I originally purchased the in shower cream but I felt that it didn't really stay on in the shower, plus applying it with the sponge was messy. This you just spray on, leave on for 3-6min and remove with the plastic piece that comes with it. It works pretty good, I sometimes have to do a little touching up with my razor, but I still like the product.

3. Jergans Natural Glow Express
With spring (hopefully) coming soon, I want to start getting myself ready for wearing tank tops and capris. I am very pale so I don't tan, I burn. Even if I could tan, I would rather fake tan because it is much healthier for your skin. The Jergans Natural Glow Express is a step up from the regular Jergans moisturizer. It gets you to your darkest color in three days, instead of a week. And since its a moisturizer as well, there is almost zero chance of turning orange and streaks and splotches are very easily remedied.

4. Aveeno Pure Renewal Sulphate Free Shampoo and Conditioner
I saw this at Target and I was in the market for a new shampoo and conditioner so I picked it up. I like sulphate free products because sulphates are very drying to your hair and sulphate free is better for color treated hair (like mine) and helps the color stay longer. It has a nice smell and leaves my hair soft and shiny.

5. Almay Color Correcting Primer
This primer has a blend of purple pigments (to brighten) and green (to counteract redness). It can be worn alone or under foundation. I apply it all over my face and on places that seem more red, I apply a bit more.

There's my recent purchases! Have you used any of these products? What do you think of them?

  2. I liked it a lot. It did a good job job at removing hair and leaving my legs smooth. The one thing I didn't really like was that it only lasts for 2, maybe 3, applications. But it keeps your legs smoother for longer than a razor does so its not to big a deal.
